Five important questions to ask before permanently leave your home country and immigrate in USA

1.      Are you ready to start over your life and leave your family, your love-ones and your career behind

Saying goodbye is always painful! Potential immigrants do not realize how many changes and sacrifices they need to do once they move and start to live in USA.  You have to be ready to start over again and be open to any changes that may cross your path. Leaving your family, friends and your job behind is a tough decision because you do not know what the future will bring. One thing to remember is your decision has to be firm and positive. Before you decide to leave your home country, the most important thing to remember is to bring, keep and improve your burning desire in order to succeed in USA;

2.      What are your goals, what is your desire to achieve once you move in USA

Climbing the mountain is exhausting! Before you decide to climb the mountain and move in USA, you have to be 100% clear what are your plans, goals and desires. Being honest with yourself and having positive thoughts will bring you the right answers and the right satisfaction.

3.      What tools do I need in order to be ready to move and live in USA

Perfect preparation is possible! Being prepared with the right knowledge

or right diploma or the right tools in order to achieve your goal once you start living in USA is extremely important. Many immigrants do not realize how important is to be prepared before they decide to move and live in USA. What was your job title and your job duties in your home country may not be the same once you start living in USA. Your lifestyle may not be the same as in your home country considering the fact of culture differences.

4.      What is your financial strength

Your bank account does not have to be full with thousands of dollar! We always advice the potential immigrants to analyze on a piece of paper how much financial abilities they possess before they decide to move and live in USA. Of course, all of us are aware they are few exceptions of immigrants out there who came with $100 or less in their pockets and now are millionaires. There are always exceptions to any situation. However, the average potential immigrant will need much more than $100 to help themselves in case of emergency situation.

5.      How well do you speak English

You do not have to be a professor in English literature! The knowledge of better English skills is necessary. Depending on your job responsibilities your English skills can be from basic speaking skills to advance level in speaking, writing and reading. We strongly recommend any potential immigrant to spend at least six months in their home countries to learn English. Do not rely on your native language and your friends or relatives to help you once you move in USA. It does not matter where and with whom you will be living or working in USA, spending time to advance your English skills will give you enormous advantage to succeed as an immigrant.

  1. hi :) nice advice.
    I used to dream about going to the USA but now the desire is gone. I think the best place to succeed is where you are, what you know and what are you going to do about it.

    This way you don't have to leave your love ones behind. If ever I'll go there, it will be just as a tourist.

    thanks

  2. Hi Mannoy, Thank you for sharing your opinion! It is always personal decision and not every person likes to leave their family and friends for awhile or move to different country. Some people like to travel and move and explore the life and the culture of different countries, other people do not. Every country including your home country has its own beauty and there are always advantages and disadvantages to consider. Thank you. Terrans
